Helena, Montana Teen Center

Hans & Bethany Vrooman

I met Hans & Bethany Vrooman a few years back at the Regions Beyond conference, Amplify, in Missoula Montana. They are members of Mt. Helena Community Church in Helena, MT. Due to their own difficult experiences growing up, they have a tremendous heart for the hurting young people of their community. They attended my workshop on building family with hurting youth, but we lost contact after the conference. Then this year they reached back out looking for help launching a teen center. In just a few short weeks since our first conversation, they have already developed a plan, built a team of potential leaders and supporters, obtained support from their church, and scouted out a few possible locations.

The next step is for me to travel to Helena to join a meeting of key leaders and help strategize the path forward. Through their hard work and vision, a new teen center in Helena, MT is rapidly becoming a reality. I will post more photos below after my trip along with updates on our progress.
